Interfaith Service

The Mayor of Castle Point, Councillor Lynsey McCarthy-Calvert, would like to invite you and a guest to The Mayor’s Interfaith Civic Service on Wednesday, 2 October at 6.30pm (arrival 6pm) Runnymede Hall, rear of Council Offices, Kiln Road, Thundersley, Benfleet, SS7 1TF. Chains of Office, badges and uniforms may be worn. 

The service is to celebrate the work that goes on in the Castle Point Community bringing together a range of community leaders from across the borough and will include contributions from leaders or members of different faiths. The Service will be led by The Mayor’s Chaplain, Interfaith Minister, Reverend Tania Menegatti. A local school and possibly community choir singers will be singing on the day.

Following the service refreshments will be served should you wish to stay.
