New date for The Paddocks Centre reopening
The reopening of The Paddocks Community Centre, originally scheduled for 17 March, has been postponed until 31 March. The decision is due to a short delay commissioning the new Air Handling Unit for heating and air conditioning.
Cllr Dave Blackwell, Leader of Castle Point Borough Council said: “While we understand this news may be disappointing, we want to assure you that this small extension is necessary to ensure that our facility meets the highest standards of comfort for all visitors. Despite this delay, our excitement for the upcoming reopening remains undiminished.”
Cllr Tom Gibson, Cabinet Member for Special Projects and Assets added: “The Paddocks Community Centre has undergone a significant £2.3 million refurbishment, and we are eager to welcome you back to experience the improved amenities. We look forward to celebrating the reopening and showcasing the fantastic enhancements we've made.”
