Castle Point Borough Council is inviting residents to take part in its Residents’ Survey, running from 27 February to 27 March 2026

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and gives residents the chance to share their views on Council services and life in the Borough.

Residents who complete the survey will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of two annual leisure passes, offering a full year of free access to the facilities at the Council’s award-winning leisure services.

Participants will be asked for their views on:

•    How the Council communicates with residents
•    How easy it is to access Council services online
•    Opinions on the Council and the services it provides
•    Satisfaction with the local area and town centre

The results of the Residents’ Survey play an important role in shaping future decisions, improvements and priorities across Castle Point.

Cllr Dave Blackwell, Leader of Castle Point Borough Council said: “Listening to our residents is at the heart of everything we do. This survey gives local people a real opportunity to tell us what’s working well and where we need to improve.”

Cllr Warren Gibson, Deputy Leader of Castle Point Borough Council said: “In our Corporate Plan we made a commitment to consult, engage with, and listen to our residents, which is why we’re launching the Council’s first Residents’ Survey.”

Cllr Tom Gibson, Portfolio Holder for Special Projects & Assets added: “I encourage everyone to take part in our first Residents’ Survey. Your views really matter and could influence the decisions we make and the services we provide across Castle Point.”
