See our Christmas closure information for our opening times and more over the festive period.
This page refers to new blue recycling sacks for paper and card. Textile collection bags are now white instead of blue. For information regarding textile recycling, please see our textile and clothing page.

Blue sacks will be collected with your pink sacks every other week - see your collections calendar for your collection day.

Blue sacks are currently being delivered to all residents in the borough to aid with simpler recycling legislation introduced by the Government in Spring 2026.

If you get your recycling collected on a Friday and haven't got your new sacks, please email our recycling team. If you get your recycling collected Monday to Thursday, we're still delivering your sacks ahead of phase two on 2 November.
