Round 4 call for applications

Further to round 3 of the Council’s UKSPF Community Grant Programme, the Council is running a fourth round of applications for grant funding in 2024/25 (revenue and capital).

There is around £19,000 of revenue grant and £14,000 of capital grant to award in this final round. Whilst priority will be given to new applicants, consideration will be given to applications from those organisations that have previously successfully applied to the grant programme (note that new applications from these organisations must be for different projects to those for which a grant has already been awarded). The Council particularly welcomes new applications from organisations operating in the Benfleet area of the Borough as this area has been underrepresented in the grants awarded in previous rounds.

The projects under this round 4 call must be delivered by the 31 March 2025.

Deadlines for applications are as follows:

Initial applications by midday 29 July 2024 (Feedback will be provided on these); 

Final applications (Revised, further to feedback) by midday 19 August 2024.

The Council will then hold a grant panel meeting at the end of August / beginning of September (exact date to be confirmed) after which applicants will be advised of the outcome.

The application form and excel timeline/budget sheet (see the UKSPF How do I apply page for details) need to be emailed to ukspf@castlepoint.gov.uk by the above deadlines.

The project under this round 3 call will be delivered between 2 April 2024 and 31 March 2025.

Deadlines for applications are as follows:

Initial applications by midday 2 April 2024 (Feedback will be provided on these);

Final applications (Revised, further to feedback) by midday 29 April 2024.

The Council will then hold a grant panel meeting in May (Time to be confirmed) after which applicants will be advised of the outcome.
