Please present blue sacks at the boundary of your property by 7am on your collection day. See more information on our waste presentation rules page.

Castle Point Borough Council works in partnership with Essex Textiles to collect textiles for reuse and recycling. Sacks are only collected by Castle Point and Essex Textiles branded vans.

You can also take your waste to textile recycling banks around the Borough.

 

Accepted items

• All men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and underwear
• Paired shoes & boots
• Blankets, towels & bed linen
